Another busy Ruidoso weekend! (7/28-8/1)

Thursday was this week's date night.  We went to Great Wall for some sushi and then went home and watched "Brooklyn's Finest".

Friday was fun too - Michelle, Brooke and Brooke's husband Ryan came up.  We had dinner at the travel center and did some gambling.  We pretty much broke even but we gambled for a long time so we consider it productive. 

Saturday we woke up early to go run.  This was something like week 6, day 1 of our awesome program ... but technically we have been doing this for more like 8 weeks (sometimes we repeat weeks).

We also went to see Despicable Me with my "little sister" (Big Brothers Big Sisters) Julianna.  It was a cute movie.

Saturday evening dinner... can you guess where???  AGAIN at Great Wall (yum yum!) with Josh's momma and her friend Bill this time.

Then on Sunday, Kevin came up for the horse races!

weekend around town (7/23-25)

We hung around town this weekend.

Went to some garage sales on Saturday.  And checked out a couple of shops we hadn't been to yet.

The Olive Oil Shops!  We got some tasty oil and balsamic vinegar.  We even made some bruschetta.

Yum yum!

We also got to scope out the new cupcake shop.  To Jessica's relief it was not very cute at all.  And not very tasty either.

We even bought our very own Life!

Jess even had time to make some cupcakes of her own!
